Point 1
Carbon filtration for chlorine reduction and Water Softening for calcium/magnesium removal acts as protection to our Reverse Osmosis and Deionised water systems to extract all major and minor salt elements from the feed water supply with added protection of post Ultra Violet sterilisation and sub-micron filtration.
Point 2
Water Softeners are an integral part of boiler water feed to control the scaling of calcium and magnesium minerals, this ion exchange process uses water softener salt as it’s regenerant to provide an Industry standard of <2mg/L CaCo3.
